BACORD is a non-governmental and not-for-profit organization founded in Mogadishu.In 2010 by a group of educated, dynamic and like-minded youth working in the community development sector, came together to establish an organization, for addressing the most urgent and pressing needs of the people of Somalia with a mission to provide people affected by human and natural crises.
BARSAN Community Relief and Development subsequently registered under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the federal republic of Somalia through under Article 22, Para 1, 2, 3; Article 26 and Article 67 Para3 of the transitional federal charter of Somalia in 2004, as well as the Article 7, Article 26 and Article 32 of the first constitution of Somalia in 1960.
